Viewing a Student's Progress in the Context of the Common Core Standards

Montessori Compass makes it easy to remain focused on your Montessori classroom, without spending time thinking about the Common Core. Guides in the classroom simply record classroom activity within Montessori Compass and the standards alignment takes place behind the scenes. If you don't have any use for the Common Core, then there's nothing more you need to do. However, if you do wish to report progress in the context of the Common Core, you can easily do so at any time.

In the example to the right, an individual student's records are displayed for a Kindergarten Mathematics Standard "Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality". There are 25 Montessori elements aligned to this standard. This particular student has had 10 of the 25 elements recorded. All of this data is available for optional reports.
